About the event
You will get a booklet with tips and information on various types of ink and paper/substrates and when to
use which ones, cleaning, fundamentals about composition, perspective, as well as how to use the masking technique to create new scenes each time you sit down to stamp. This genre allows you to use the stamps in your collection over and over and still make something new and fresh each time. I sometimes use stamps I have had for over 30 years to make something brand new!
Your class time will be used primarily to learn and practice masking. Your booklet includes a lot of additional information that (due to time constraints) we will not actually go over during class. You will do basic scene building to experience "hand on" the fundamentals of masking. You will take home your stamp set ($12 value).
Participants must bring a black ink pad, an acrylic block (3"x4" is a good size), and scissors.
